Brian Blackwell is mostly known for his involvement with Practical Punting Magazine which is an Australian published magazine in publication since 1985.Ellis writes a weekly featured race analysis for the National Thoroughbred Racing Association and for Equibase, The Thoroughbred Industry’s Official Source for Racing Information. Ellis’ articles have been published in Horseplayer magazine in North America and in Practical Punting magazine in Australia. He appears regularly on Sam Spear’s “At the Track” weekly radio broadcast on KNBR in San Francisco and is a guest lecturer to aspiring jockeys at the North American Racing Academy.
